What can you use the app for?

Fav.or.it is an interesting website; it is designed to make it really easy for users to read a number of different blogs without having to visit different sites. It combines a vibrant community with all of your popular blogs. Feeds make it possible to read blogs from one age, however if you want to comment then you will have to leave the page, Fav.or.it makes it possible to respond to numerous different blogs without having to leave the site. Fav.or.it is a huge site that mixes together feed reading, commenting and a large community.

What is the history and popularity of the app?

Fav.or.it was launched in June 2008 by Nick Halstead and his team. This application has been designed to make blogging more popular with people that don’t necessarily know anything about blogs. Visiting separate blogs can be time consuming; this makes it so much easier. The application is becoming popular with people that want to read various blogs without leaving one site. Fav.or.it was shut down in August 2009.

What are the differences to other apps?

Although it is popular to read a number of blogs using RSS feeds, it’s not possible to comment on them or interact in the community without first visiting the individual blog. Fav.or.it however changes all that, it makes it very easy to comment on blogs and interact with the community without leaving the page. Fav.or.it is designed with simplicity in mind, this means that it’s very easy for users to read and comment on entries without knowing anything about blogs.

The application is very easy to use, and if you know anything about blogs then you will find this very easy. However even if you are only familiar with normal websites you won’t have a problem navigating around the site. Fav.or.it makes it possible to comment on blogs without having to leave the website. Fav.or.it is one of the easiest to use blogging sites out there, and many people will read blog entries without actually being aware of what they are.

How does the registration process work?

It’s very easy for anyone to create a new account at Fav.or.it, to sign up you will be requested to enter your email address, name, password, and also to complete a captcha security question. You will then be sent an email which you have to read and click a link to confirm your email address. Until you confirm your address you cannot use your account. Once you are logged in you can then add a number of different accounts to your profile.

What does it cost to use the application?

It’s free for everyone to use Fav.or.it, and there are no noticeable adverts anywhere on the application. The application is currently still in Beta Testing, when they launch the finished version it could be the case that they will start charging for some accounts.

Fav.or.it is ideal for anyone that wants to read blogs without having to visit many different websites. This means that you can read all of your favorite blogs on the same page and also leave comments. Fav.or.it has a vibrant blogging community that makes it more interesting to blog and leave comments. It’s an ideal application for people that don’t know that much about blogs and don’t want to bother learning; it’s also a great place to go for a vibrant community where you can have some great fun.
